Rajni’s Journey: From Silent Scars to Strength

Meet Rajni, a brave and determined girl whose story is one of quiet strength and unwavering resolve.
At just 2.5 years old, she arrived at Rajkiya Balgruha Shishu Prag Narayan, Lucknow with severe facial burns. The cause was unknown, and her past remained a mystery. Over the years, she underwent multiple surgeries, but while the scars on her face began to fade, her inner resilience only grew stronger.
At age 10, she was moved to Rajkiya Balika Balgruha, where the focus shifted to her care and education. That’s where PEHL entered her life.
Since 2014, PEHL has provided educational guidance and support to girls in such homes. With consistent mentorship, Rajni gained confidence, stayed focused, and in time, scored 73% in her 10th-grade exams.
Today, Rajni dreams of becoming a doctor. She loves studying and is steadily moving toward her goal.
Her journey is proof that with determination, support, and the right guidance, anything is possible.
