Rajkumari, a bright and determined girl, came to Bal Kalyan Nagari, Mankhurd at a young age with her younger sister, after being orphaned. Despite the hardships, she stepped into the role of a caring elder sibling with quiet strength Coming from a Tamil-speaking background, Rajkumari faced the challenge of studying in a Marathi-medium school, a language she didn’t speak. But she never let that stop her.With support from PEHL’s supplementary education program, she worked hard and passed her Class 10 exams with 62% in 2023. She then enrolled in ITI, where she scored 70% in her first year. Now, she’s working towards her dream of becoming an Air Hostess, building her communication skills and confidence every day. “It was difficult at first, but PEHL gave me the strength to believe in myself,” she says.
