About Project Sharan

A Lifeline for Children Orphaned by COVID

When the COVID pandemic swept across the country, it left behind more than just a health crisis – it shattered families and futures. Among the most heart-wrenching consequences was the sudden rise in children who lost one or both parents, left to navigate life without the emotional, financial, and educational support they once had.

Project Sharan was born out of this urgent need – a Pan-India initiative dedicated to standing beside these children during their most vulnerable moments. Launched in 2021-22, Project Sharan provides holistic, long-term support to children orphaned by the pandemic, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

So far, we have supported 119 children across India, and our commitment continues as we walk with them through their educational journey until they complete professional or vocational courses.
