Dr. Dnyaneshwar Guntapalle :

Community members were guided on personal hygiene and ways to maintain good health. They received tips on improving immunity through proper sleep, a balanced diet, and immunomodulators such as Guduchi and Chyawanprash.

The importance of clean water for a healthy life was emphasized, and villagers were instructed to boil water before use.

Villages were trained about proper cleanliness and taking proper diet and adequate amount of sleep for better health. Also the villagers were guided about importance of mental health.

Villages were told about proper diet for proper health like vitamins and proteins in their meals and proper carbs.

The resource person spoke about routes of transmission of diseases as well as the diseases caused due to poor hygiene. Villagers were told about diseases like Typhoid, Cholera, fungal infections and Tuberculosis etc.

Dr. Jagannath Ghotekar:

A special presentation was conducted to raise awareness about COVID-19, focusing mainly on new variants like Delta and Omicron. Villagers were advised not to fear COVID-19 but to calmly follow the recommended guidelines. The importance of sleep was emphasized, including its effects on daily routine and immunity. Maintaining both mental and physical health during the pandemic was highlighted as crucial.

Some home remedies for a healthy life were shared with the villagers. The importance of yoga for both mental and physical health was explained through practical sessions as well as theoretical discussions.

The resource person instructed the women of the village about menstruation, the menstrual cycle, and menstrual hygiene. Villagers were also made aware of the importance of cleanliness for various body parts such as the tongue, teeth, hair, hands, and nails.
