Antenatal Care (ANC ) and Immunization

It was the observed need of our organization that our new appointed Health workers should learn about ANC and Immunization. PEHL conducted Health workers offline training at Gramin Rugnalaya, Kashele. The Recourse person explained to health workers about Antenatal care and the history of Immunization and why immunization is important for infants and children.

The topics covered were:

Pregnancy Care and Advice, Care During Pregnancy:

• Prenatal examination
• Prenatal laboratory tests
• Prenatal physical examination
• Tetanus vaccine (TT injection)
• Iron folic acid, deworming calcium carbonate tablets
• Pregnancy diet
• Essential nutrients
• Rest during pregnancy
• Involvement of family
