A total of 119 community members benefited from the medical camp, including 57 males and 61 females. Following the check-up, medicines were provided in the form of tablets, syrups, creams, and drops based on the patients’ individual needs.

Common medical condition

Upper respiratory infections presenting as cough, cold and fever was seen commonly and treatment was given to patients. It was noted that only few of them had acute febrile illness so the allergic causes need to be ruled out. Bodyache, Joint pain & Backache with Generalized weakness was seen in a large number of patients and could be attributed to poor nutrition, nutritional deficiencies and heavy physical work at fields and homes. It was also noted that quite a few are old and there is paucity of any rehabilitative service support needed in this age. Quite a large number of patients were found to have high BP and blood sugar. These could be at risk or may have hypertension or diabetes, further follow up and monitoring is planned for them.

Many patients were found to have high blood pressure and increased sugar levels in the medical camp. Our health workers are taking follow-up and counselling these patients to go to government hospital, Kashele for further treatment.
