The COVID19 pandemic has destroyed many families, leaving children vulnerable due to the unfortunate loss of one of both parents. PEHL, a non-profit, has initiated PROJECT SHARAN.

We are reaching out to support such children in their time of need and grief by providing online counselling, aiding reunion of the child with living relatives, sponsoring the child’s education or fulfilling any specific requirements that may be needed according to the guardians.

If you know a child who can benefit from these services, please ask their guardian to fill this google form, and our team will contact them to get the needful done.

We have received 90 applications at present, of which nearly 70 have been approved for support after due diligence.

The age of children ranges from pre-schoolers aged four years to young adults aged 22-23 years pursuing professional courses that have been disrupted due to the death of the main bread-earner of the house. Fees support ranges from Rs.2100 annually to Rs.1.5 lakh annually, depending on the institution and age of the child.

Disbursal of school fees has been initiated for the approved beneficiaries.
