PEHL (Prime Education Health Learning Services)

PEHL is a Not-for-Profit Section 25 company registered under the Registrar of Companies and has exemption under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act. It is a grassroot level organization focused on implementing projects firsthand, that benefit children with special needs and in special circumstances. It also organizes medical camps and helps in disaster relief work. PEHL has its operations in Mumbai and Lucknow, with its several outreach projects.

It aims to create and supplement existing services in the field of health, education and other related areas. We are working with government as well as private organizations with similar objectives.

Our Focus

  • Education: We are working with children from destitute homes and help them deal with difficult circumstances through supplementing their education, skills development and counseling.

  • Medical Relief: We conduct medical camps in areas affected by calamities and rural inaccessible interiors and also provide logistic support as needed. We also provide medical support to the needy.

  • Building Better Futures: We run Vocational courses to generate employment opportunities, and sponsor higher education for the children with flair in particular fields.

  • Disabilities: PEHL has focused activities for impoverished and differently able children, aids in identification, diagnosis and home-based intervention for rehabilitation of children with special needs.

WHY SUPPORT THEM

The potential of these children is immense. However, they lack motivation and skills necessary to be successful and the standard of education at the local municipal school that they attend is abysmal. The likelihood that they do not learn and go back to society as unproductive members without proper education or skills is high without intervention by organizations like ours.

Keeping this in mind, we have set long term goals of empowerment of these children by boosting their academic performance as a means of improving their overall self-confidence and belief in their own abilities, and sponsoring them for pursuit of their special talents.

Similarly children with special needs do show great improvement and long term improvement in the quality of life with early home based intervention.

HOW CAN I HELP

We invite you to be a part of this movement. You can contribute in many ways: by talking about PEHL and its activities, volunteering for specific projects, or simply making a donation.

We will provide you the details and progress of the beneficiaries periodically.

* All donations to PEHL services are exempt from income tax under section 80(G) of the income tax act 1961
